The Pimp My Salad story began when the original founders, Olga and Alex, arrived in Australia and fell in love with the natural food scene. They experimented with quick, fun ways to keep their own healthy cooking exciting, dreaming up new ways to pimp salads, soups and snacks — before they knew it Pimp My Salad was born and quickly began to grow.
Starting with simple salad toppers, the business expanded to offer vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, paleo, and keto delights. In 2024, Australian owned and operated Honest to Goodness, acquired Pimp My Salad. For over 20 years, the Honest to Goodness ethos has been to make healthy living simple, sustainable and accessible. As an Australian family-owned business, they stay true to their sourcing philosophy – "if we wouldn't give it to our family, then we won't sell it to yours." Hi there! We’re Olga and Alex, the Pimp My Salad founders.
Our story starts when we stepped on a plane to travel the world, a journey that taught us so much about how to eat well, stay healthy and love life — and brought us to our new home here in Australia.
Inspired by the natural food scene, we experimented with quick, fun ways to keep our own healthy cooking exciting, dreaming up new ways to pimp our salads, soups and snacks — and before we knew it Pimp My Salad was born.
Driven by a desire to help as many people as possible to live healthy, joyful lives, we traded our careers in medical biology (Olga) and software design (Alex) for the adventure of growing Pimp My Salad.
