FALAFEL BALLS
Ingredients
• 500g soaked chickpeas (8-10h)
• 1/2 brown onion
• 1/2 cup fresh parsley
• 1/3 cup fresh coriander
• 1 heaped tbsp gf flour
• 1 tsp coriander, ground
• 1 tsp cumin, ground
• 1.5 tsp garlic, dried
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp pepper
• 1 tsp baking powder
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, soak chickpeas in cold water for 8-10h.
2. Drain chickpeas and add with remaining ingredients into a high speed blender and blend until smooth. (It’s fine if small chunks are remaining).
3. Form equal balls, using a small cookie scoop or your hands.
4. Heat 3-4 tbsp of olive oil in a large pan and cook falafel until golden brown.
